Volunteer with the MVHA
The MVHA offers members a wide variety of opportunities to volunteer and help us share Mountain View’s history with the public. No experience is required. If you’re interested, please select all the volunteer opportunities below that you’d like to learn more about and one of our current volunteers will contact you with additional information.
Volunteer Opportunities
- Walking Tour Docent: Get trained to give walking tours of Historic Mountain View
- History Center docent program: Help our History Center librarian share Mountain View history at the library
- Community outreach tabling: Greet the public at MVHA's table during local events (Neighborhood ice cream socials, etc.)
- MVHA Board of Directors: Be part of the team that plans future MVHA events and projects
- Educational programs: Help give presentations on Mountain View history to local schools and organizations
- Event staffing: Assist with set-up and staffing at our quarterly public events at the historic Adobe Building
- Communications Assistance: Newsletter editor, social media posting support and assist with writing newsletter content.
