Discover the hidden history of Downtown Mountain View!
Join one of our friendly Mountain View Historical Association volunteers for a walking tour that reveals the 150+ year evolution of Mountain View by telling the stories of historic sites and buildings on and around Castro Street.
The tour departs at 2:00 p.m. from Centennial Plaza at 600 W. Evelyn Avenue. Registration is required to secure your spot. The standard tour will be approximately one mile and one hour long and will cover historic sites along Castro Street, ending near Eagle Park. Bonus “round trip” tours back to Centennial Plaza exploring historic sites along Downtown’s side streets may be offered depending on tour guide availability and tour group interest.
Suggested donation is $10 for due-paying MVHA members, suggested donation of $15 for non-members. Please register no later than 11 am Sunday April 28.
